14th Sage: Neustadt - Rødby 90 km

Å Æ Ø....Yes my dears,
the letters that you see are from the Danish alphabet of the Danish Keyboard I have beneath my fingers...the speakers were saying: THEY LANDED, THEY LANDED...and it is true, the team is now in Denmark after crossing the Baltic see with one hand on the steering bar and the other keeping an hot dog bought at the parking of the ferries!
The way from Neustadt was not so easy becuase the ankles of Andrea were paining, but no discussions: the count-down was already started and the rocket was warming the engines...the launch procedure couldn´t be stopped!
Initially worried about the possibility to find a place in the ferry boat the team discovered that:

1. there are ferries every 15 minutes
2. also trains are inside the ferries..

and as a conclusion having a place on board was definitely not a problem...
As soon as landed in Denmark everything changed: no need to hurry, frok now on every km was holyday...it was possible to admire the Danish landscape and to breath the Scandinavian lifestile. Everywhere white crossed red flags in the gardens of houses and small and simple houses, with big windows through which a curious Italian can freely look inside...
In the ferry the team had the company of a Swiss/German/Thailandese (Thomas & Daniela) couple that was following the same route. As soon as the boat landed, Thomas realized that he forgot his phone in a restaurant in Germany...so he had to go back to Germany while Daniela stayed in Rødby and, after the camp was set, the Cobram´s team + Daniela went to have dinner in the town...first Danish Beers in Danish Land (Carlsberg...Probably the best Beer in Town).
The bikes were crying because the mud and the rain made the mechanics dry. In the camping a deep wash and re-oil treatment made them feel young again!
Final note: now the weather turned definitely to summer...sun is bright in the sky and temperature is touching the 20 degrees (ok, we are in Scandinavia....this is summer here!).

Å Æ Ø...si´miei cari,
le lettere che vedete sono dell´alfabeto danese della tastiera danese che ho sotto le mie dita...gli altoparlanti gridavano: SONO SBARCATI SONO SBARCATI...ed era vero: la squadra e´ora in danimarca...dopo aver solcato il mar Baltico con una mano sul manubrio e l´altra che teneva un hot dog (devo tradurre anche hot dog?) comprato nel parcheggio del traghetto.
La tappa da Neustadt non e´stata facile perche´le caviglie di Andrea dolevano precchio, ma nessuna discussione: il count down era inizitato, il razzo stava scaldando i motori e la procedura di lancio non poteva essere fermata!
Inizialmente preoccupati di non trovar posto a bordo il team scopriva che:

1. ci sono navi ogni 15 minuti
2. anche i treni sono imbarcati

in conclusione avere un posto in nave non era assolutamente un problema.
Appena sbarcati in Danimarca tutto cambiava: non piu´fretta, da quel momento in avanti ogni km era vacanza...ed era finalmente possibile ammirare il panorama danese e respirare lo stile di vita scandinavo. Dappertutto bandiere rosse con croce bianca piantate nei giardini delle abitazioni e piccole e graziose casette con grandi finestre attaverso cui un italiano curioso puo´sbirciare liberamente...
In traghetto la squadra faceva conoscenza con una coppia svizzero-tedesco-tailandese (Thomas & Daniela) che stava seguendo pressapoco la stesso percorso. All´attracco Thomas scopriva di aver dimenticato il cellulare in un ristorante in Germania quindi si vedeva costretto a tornare indietro, mentre Daniela rimaneva in Rødby e, dopo aver montato il campo, il Cobram´s Team + Daniela andavano a cenare assieme...prime birre danesi in terra danese (Carlsberg...Proably the best beer in town).
Le bici piangevano perché il fango e la pioggia avevano seccato le meccaniche. In campeggio un lavaggio profondo e una ri-oliata generale le faceva sentire ancora giovani!
Nota finale: il tempo ora e´veramente estvo; sole splendente in cielo e temperatura che tocca i 20 gradi (ok, siamo in Scandinavia, quindi l´estate e´ cosi´)
